The Evergreen Summer Concert Series is an annual event, enjoy great food and music under the stars with your favorite people at Evergreen Lake and Buchanan Park Field! It starts at 4:30pm for seating and 6:30pm for performances.
- July 13: Trail Race Series Evergreen Mountain 15K
Join the Evergreen Mountain Trail Race, featuring stunning peaks and valleys. Experience Three Sisters and Little Brother rocks, with a 1,000+ ft elevation gain and breathtaking views at 8,400 ft. Open to ages 16+ for a registration fee of $55. Unlimited spots available, sign up now!
- July 18 & 19: CAE’s Annual Summerfest Art & Music Festival
The Summerfest Art and Music Festival is an annual 2-day festival that features live music from local bands, food trucks and spirts vendors, activity areas, and more. Located at Buchanan Park Field both days from 10 AM – 5 PM. There’s a $5 admission fee at the door, kids under 10 are free!
- July 23-26: Evergreen Jazz Festival
This three day event is a must for Jazz lovers in the area. With five different venues and a lineup of top-quality artists, the Evergreen Jazz Festival was created by jazz lovers, for jazz lovers. Venues include the Evergreen Elks lodge, Evergreen Lake House, and more. Ticket prices vary – browse their website for more information.

Join the community every Thursday this summer for the newest Evergreen farmers market: Growing Out West. The market runs from 9 AM to 2 PM at Cactus Jacks, and will have delicious fresh produce, soap vendors, and more.

- August 1: Downtown Evergreen Dam Ducky Derby
The Downtown Ducky Derby sends thousands of rubber ducks down the dam spillway to the finish line at Highland Haven. Join the community along Bear Creek, purchase some rubber ducks, and see who is the first to make it to the finish line for a cash prize!
- August 15: Mountain Music Fest
Get ready for a 9-hour music festival surrounded by the gorgeous Evergreen landscape. Going from noon to 9 PM, this festival will feature unforgettable performances, on-site food trucks, and more! Get your tickets online today!
- August 5 & 19: Summer Concert Series
Evergreen Summer Concert Series delivers an annual music extravaganza with a diverse array of talented musicians and bands. This extraordinary event offers free and family-friendly entertainment at both the picturesque Evergreen Lake House and Buchanan Park. It starts at 4:30pm for seating and 6:30pm for performances.
- August TBD: Colorado Heritage Day
Just a short drive from Evergreen there will be a celebration of Colorado Heritage Day in Conifer, Colorado. The celebration includes important exhibits showing the events and people that shaped Conifer and Colorado, live music, food trucks, and more! The event runs from 11 AM – 3 PM at the Conifer Historical Society and Museum Little White School House in Conifer, tickets can be purchased online!
- August 22 & 23: Evergreen Fine Arts Festival
Don’t miss out on the 60th annual Evergreen Fine Arts Festival! Enjoy food and drinks, local live music, art booths, and more. Located at the Buchanan Park Field on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm. Free shuttle services will also be provided.
- August 16: EPRD Buchanan Park Family Movie Nights – Last Bell Celebration
Join in on the fun for the Buchanan Park Family Movie night! The featured movie for this night is Barbie, and it’s free to enter for all ages. The event starts at 6 PM. If you’re looking for a little extra adventure, register for the family campout here! The event also has concessions, food trucks, fire pits, and more.

- September 1, 8, 15, 22: Growing Out West Evergreen’s Newest Farmers Market
Join in one last time for the last Growing Out West farmers market! The market runs Tuesdays from 9 AM to 2 PM at Cactus Jacks, and will have delicious fresh produce, soap vendors, and more.
- September 12: Big Chili Cook-Off Music & Arts Festival
Support your local firefighters with delicious chili tasting, live entertainment, and more at this years Big Chili Cook-Off Music & Arts Festival. Gates open at 10 AM and the event lasts until 5 PM. Bring your friends and family for a great time!
- September 19-Oct 4: Oktoberfest
Join Evergreen’s Oktoberfest! Enjoy German beer, food, and activities for kids. Live music by Polka Folka and Judge Roughneck. Hosted by Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice, supporting Camp Comfort. The event is at Buchanan Park Field from 12 am to 4 pm.
October 2026
- October 2nd: Mountain film on Tour
The Montessori School of Evergreen and Reel Inspired Media proudly host Mountainfilm on Tour in Evergreen! Join in at the Center Stage for inspiring films from the Telluride Festival.
- October 19: Haunted Glow Walk
Get your family together and head to Buchanan Park for the annual Evergreen Haunted Glow Walk. This exciting event starts at 7 PM, there will be a free showing of The Haunted Mansion, food trucks and concessions.
Winter Events 2026
Winter is a magical season in Evergreen! Enjoy the holiday season with Breakfast with Santa, Holiday Walks, and welcome in the new year with the Icefest.
- November 30: Santa Breakfast
Join Santa and his Elves for a delicious breakfast this holiday season! Bring the family for a fun breakfast with Santa. All attendants get a photo with Santa! Tickets go on sale November 1, so buy early! There’s limited space, the event isn’t accepting day-of or unregistered attendees.
December 2025
- December 6: Holiday Walk
Kick off the Christmas season with the Evergreen Holiday Walk. Starting at 6 pm, watch the traditional tree lighting from the Evergreen Lake House, then work your way downtown for live performances from local dance and music groups, holiday shopping, and more.
- December 7, 14, and 21: Santa Breakfast
Join Santa and his Elves for a delicious breakfast this holiday season! Bring the family for a fun breakfast with Santa. All attendants get a photo with Santa! Tickets go on sale November 1, so buy early! There’s limited space, the event isn’t accepting day-of or unregistered attendees.
- December 31: Icefest

Held from 10 AM – 6 PM at Evergreen Lake, enjoy skating on North America’s largest Zamboni-groomed skating rink! There will be winter-themed movies, hockey, fire pits, roasted marshmallows, and more! Tickets for this event go on sale the day of the event and are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

January 7: Chill Out Winterfest! 4th Annual winter community event.
RAD AS ICE BIKE RACE
8:00 AM – Mens/Womens “A” Race starts (Registration opens at 7:00 AM)
Evergreen Lake House
Pre-registration encouraged, limited walk-up available.
Come join the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District for the only bicycle ice race in Colorado! This race is ON Evergreen Lake, yes that’s right you will be racing on an approximately 1 mile course across the ice. Helmets are required for all participants and knee and elbow pads are highly recommended. There will be three total races – 2 adult races and one kids’ race.

Family Friendly community competition for all ages that showcases our wonderful lake and mountain town. Teams of 2 or 4 take to the ice to pull, like a dog sled, their teammate(s) around an obstacle course without popping their float. Non-slip footwear is encouraged. No Spikes allowed. You are welcome to bring your own inflatable raft.
EVERGREEN AMAZING RACE 21 & over

Pre-registration required
An over 21 race around Downtown Evergreen. You don’t have to be the fastest, just the best at completing challenges. Teams of 4-6 will get clues that will lead them to the next location, challenge and libation (non-alcoholic option available). Each challenge brings a new clue. Finish the race by 2:00. Includes a chill after party for the participants and community. A walking course – 1.5 to 2 miles roundtrip. Designated driver is encouraged.
EVERGREEN AMAZING RACE DOWNTOWN, Family Edition

Start and End Location will be at the Little Bear Saloon

Warm up with delicious drinks from Astro Coffee Van, gather around the fire pits, and enjoy the bonfire vibes! It’s going to be an afternoon of music and fun with our community!
GLOW SKATE

We are finishing off our Chill Out Winterfest with a Glow Skate on Evergreen Lake. We are partnering with our local high schools to ensure that our teens (everyone is invited) have a great time enjoying the glow skate, fire pits, refreshments and DJ spinning all the latest hits. If the condition on the ice does not allow for skating, this event will be moved inside for a glow dance. $5 tickets for students!
